Our History
Solving a Major Challenge
The founding idea for BauMaster emerged when Walter Fürthauer, as a construction project manager, was looking for a solution to handle the daily growing documentation and duplicate work.
Numerous tasks, construction meetings, defect inspections with photos – all of this had to be documented comprehensibly for a smooth construction process and to secure all claims.
The usual tools like Word and Excel made this work time-consuming and required intensive post-processing. The constant time pressure, the need for overview, and the frustration of “putting out fires at the construction site” clearly showed him:
There was a lack of a central platform where all tasks, documents, plans, and photos – in short, all project information – could converge in one place.
The idea for BauMaster was born.
We understand the daily challenges of construction project management because we have managed construction sites ourselves for years. To provide construction managers with a tool that simplifies daily construction documentation, we put our heads together every day and have been incorporating our industry experience into BauMaster since 2016.

Our Mission
For almost ten years, we at BauMaster have pursued a clear goal: to develop a well-thought-out and professional tool for daily construction documentation. Recording tasks, writing protocols, monitoring implementations and construction time – all of this should, in our view, be simple, efficient, and happen as naturally as possible.
We continue to expand this core competency daily together with our customers.
The result: With BauMaster, construction managers have a helpful tool in their hands for all requirements of daily construction documentation and project management.
Walter Fürthauer was looking for a simple way to streamline his daily construction documentation and make it centrally available. First prototypes were built.
Founding of PASit software GmbH and beginning of the development of the BauMaster Software & App
BauMaster Version 1 is ready for distribution, the first customer makes a purchase.
Launch of online marketing with new website and transition from external sales partners to direct customer support.
Decision to redevelop with BauMaster Version 2, to create an optimal technical foundation for further expansion.
Revision of the company’s corporate identity and adjustment of the design in the BauMaster Software & App for a modern and intuitive interface.
Development of the BauMaster Academy with detailed video tutorials for individual training and optimal onboarding.
Launch of the English website and internationalization to Great Britain with participation in the first industry trade shows in London.
